According to Michael Heiser, expert from the Hebrew Bible and ancient Semitic languages, the Sumerian texts define Nibiru as a star (or a deity, which is the same for the Sumerians) and sometimes referred to as the planet Jupiter (Mercury or even on one occasion).

At the root of this catastrophic interpretation of Nibiru are people such as Zecharia Sitchin, a pseudo-historian who has published an eccentric theory from 1976, in his first book entitled "The Twelfth Planet". Saying rely on ancient Sumerian documents, Sitchin announced that the solar system would include a tenth planet (actually, we should rather speak of a ninth planet since Pluto was demoted to dwarf planet in 2006, the moon and the sun were counted as planets by the Sumerians) and that would be unknown planet inhabited by an advanced race of extraterrestrials, the Anunnaki.




But the Sumerians how could they get this knowledge? Simple, says Sitchin, the Anunnaki came down to Earth to teach humans. But we reserve Sitchin other surprises, for he says that these same Anunnaki have created the human race in the laboratory, and this for one purpose: to use us as slaves to extract gold from landmines, a metal that would " fix "the atmosphere of Nibiru failing (!). Through his many personal rereading of history, Zecharia Sitchin Nibiru proclaims that describe a highly elliptical orbit around the sun and it approaches the Earth every 3,600 years. These scientists do not know the nature of these infrared sources, which were described as "mysterious objects" by the newspaper articles. ... personally I think that if the world ends at 2012 it would be due to our own human mistakes about what we as a whole have made over and over and continue to ignore them even though we have them right in front of our eyes. The year itself has no value but their will be a date and time when we humans screw our own self over.
